Captain's Focus

Not the Hot bite we've had the past 2 weeks. First drop was just a pick so we stayed with it a while hoping it would get better when the current ran. It didn't, so we looked over a couple new area's. When we did find great readings the fish would move off as soon as we came back on the Anchor....same thing happened one day last week, very frustrating to say the least. Tried to chum them up on a couple drops but that didn't help. Just a pick when they did bite.

Ended the day with A Dozen to Twenty fish per man, some less than that. Back at it tomorrow.

Capt. Dan had very good Striped Bass fishing again last night, two nights in a Row! Fish up to 20 pounds, all on Live eels. Water temp is down to 65, hope this is the start to a good fall run.

Please, No Braided Line on the Night trips.....it's tough enough in the day time to work with it when we can see it, at night it's impossible. Striped Bass Night Fishing Monday through Saturday now, 6:30pm till 11:30pm.

Thanks for checking in!

Capt. Ron
