Captain's Focus

Very good Striped Bass fishing right off the bat this morning. Fishing close to home certainly helps this time of year.

Loads of life with the fish feeding on Bunker. White Shads and Tsunamis were the hot ticket to catch a fish. Mixed size Stripers from 24 inches up to 26 pounds.

Jim Miller, Delaware, took the pool with a beauty at 26 pounds today. Many guys had two keepers with a Bonus tag.....You can get a Bonus tag from NJ Fish & Wildlife, just go on-line. Bite lasted till the change of tide, then it was over. I'm sure the traffic didn't help as it was a parking lot out there.

Searched several area's only to find Bait and fish that didn't want to bite the rest of the day. Great first trip though, can't wait to get back out tomorrow.

Capt. Dan is sailing Mon through Saturday Night 6:30pm till 11:30pm fishing with live eels.
