4/18/17: The Good Friday trip was exactly that, beautiful weather, a good bite, and good friends, life was good. And mainly for Lester Jones of Lindenwald, NJ, who won the pool with a nice 6-lb blackfish. A extra prize was given by the gods, two lobsters were landed by rod and reel fisherman! You can put that in my Easter basket anytime! (Their pic is on facebook.) Now, on Saturday the bite was on big-time. We had some limits of four each and the action was great. The pool winner was Larry Anderson of Edgewater, NJ, with a big 7-lb blackfish.

We have two more weekends to go, Saturdays and Sundays only. After that we will do some painting until May 26, the opening day of sea bass, we will sail everyday. Let's get a few more blackfish before season closes, and I hope to sea you at sea!
