Captain's Focus

AM- This morning we had the Dan Royal charter out for some stripers. This was a trip Dan's son Nick won for winning a trout tournament earlier in the year. We started off year finding some great readings. Got the mojos in the water and had a steady pick all morning with some nice sized keeper bass to 27 lbs and a few blues mixed in. The guys managed to land a total of 12 keeper bass (only keeping legal limit) by the end of the morning to 27 lbs.

PM- This afternoon we ran our open boat striper trip. Got set up with the chunks where we had our bite this morning. Had some readings but nothing like the morning only landing a few blues. Took a ride looking around and found some life and set up. Again non-stop blues. Went another direction and found some fish that wanted to eat. By the end of the afternoon, the guys managed to land 10 keeper bass (only keeping legal limit) to 23 lbs.
