Captain's Focus

We went out in the rainy morning today with a few guys who were going to make the afternoon Striper trip. The fishing is about the same a few keepers along with some shorts. The afternoon we had a hard time getting the bunker but my friend Pete on the Hyper Striper bailed us out and had gotten us a net full. If it weren't for Pete we would have been going out with about 15 bunker. There were bunker in the ocean but with the seas being a little choppy with the NE wind and the bunker being deep and it would have been hard to snag them. There were plenty of big fish out there we had some super readings on the fish finder and had them swirling around the boat a few times but we only picked at them. By the end of the trip we did catch some nice Stripers and lost a few from 30 to 46.5 lbs. I would sign a contract right now to do that every trip. Many of the guys from tonight's trip were asking if I would do another one next week and I think I will. It was a fun night. I'm thinking maybe next Tuesday afternoon of running another one. I will let you know in the next day or two. Here are some pics from today. I bought a new camera this year a waterproof Coleman It doesn't take good pics they should stick to making lanterns.and coolers Thanks for checking in, Capt. Rob
