Captain's Focus

Finally, a day to write about!  Started the morning off with a bang and a nice pick on Keeper Fluke & Sea Bass.

Doc took the early lead in the daily pool on the first drift with a beauty at 7lbs 6 ounces and a second fish at 4 pounds......it was short lived and topped on the third drift by STEVE (Capt. Chaos). Steve lands a 7lb 10 ounces fish to take the lead.  It's gets better as the next drift Steve slams an 8lb 7 ounce fish. When I though it couldn't get any better, the next drift I hear CHAOS once again!! This time it's the fish of the season so far at 9 pounds 9 ounces!

Every Fluke fisherman lives for a day like today, with over 25 pounds of meat in the cooler on three fish...doesn't get any better than that. The smile on the mans face was priceless, and mine as well!

John Froelich on his first trip this season landed 5 nice keepers jigging all day. Dan, first time fisherman with me, landed his 3 and some nice Sea Bass, Capt. Ron Sr. had three nice keepers and sea bass, Dave B had a couple keepers up to 4 pounds and Sea Bass for dinner.  Hot as Hell but a nice day on the water!

Chartered Wednesday, Friday & Saturday this week.....
