Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 6

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. We had good drifting conditions in Sandy Hook Bay. Both trips were better then they have been. On the morning trip we had a big improvement in the number of shorts caught. There was not a lot of keepers but we caught more then we have been catching. On the afternoon trip we caught less shorts then the morning (but still quite a few) and ended the trip with more keepers then the morning. Dave McDermott did the best this morning catching a 6 1/2 lb and a 5 lb fluke. You can see his and other pictures from today in the gallery. The weatherman is calling for some rain tomorrow but not much wind so we will be fishing. We are half day fishing everyday for fluke making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
