Captain's Focus

8/10/17: OK, we are here on the last almost two and a half weeks of half-day fluking! What happened, hey, it's just starting to get good! This is crazy, the fluke regulations can not be any more wrong for our state than they are now! Settle down, we all know the bullshit.

The CAlll had some nice landings the last few weeks, check out the CAIII facebook page for all the pics, just for an update, the new leader for the tournament is Dave Frost once again by a very close margin, but with the quality of fish we have been catching...anything can happen. And for an update on the schedule, on Sept 1, we will be switching to the one 6-hour daily trip, 8 am to 2 pm. This is 5 days of 6-hour fluking. Sept 1 to 5. Let us try to do the most that we can for our most serious fisherman. Thanks again for your support.

One more reminder, on Thursday, August 17, for the afternoon trip only, we are privately chartered. The morning trip is opened boat. The Miss Barnegat Light will be sailing the afternoon trip 1 pm to 5 pm in our place as not to upset anyone's fishing plans. Thank you.

This is our 44th season, and to this day we still get a thrill out of a child catching his or her first fish. It never leaves you, and you will remember what boat you caught it on. Sea U at Sea.
