Captain's Focus

8/20/17: The last 2 weeks the fishing has been very good. A few trips were slow due to conditions but overall we can't complain. Some very impressive-sized fish have been landed, especially the nice beauty that our new tournament leader got, Jeff Bauer got a 8.34-lber! Good luck holding the lead, Jeff! There has been a lot of 6- to 7-lb fish caught recently, so who knows what can happen.

This will be the last full week of the half-day trips. Starting Friday, Sept 1, we will be switching to the one 6-hour trip for the last 5 days of the fluking season. Everyone is upset with the short season this year, most of all the party and charter boats. We are hoping for some relief from these unfair restrictions on fluke and sea bass in the future. Thank you for your support.

Let's finish this summer out on a positive note, and say, it's been so nice to see people come out to fish with their friends and families. It's a great sport for the young and old and male or female. Come and give it a try, come and give us a try! See you at sea!
