9/10/17: We didn't get hurt from Irma, and we all can remember too well what happened 5 years ago when Sandy came to town. Let's pray for a speedy recovery for all the people in Texas and Florida. Our end-of-the-year Fluke Tournament winner was Jeff Bauer of Manahawkin, NJ with a nice 8.34-lber, a big congratulations to Jeff.

The Carolyn Ann lll will start sailing weekends on Sept 16. Just Saturday and Sunday only for porgies, blackfish, and croakers if they're around. Don't forget to bring spinning gear in case we run into a school of blues or bonita. The sailing time is 8 am to 1 pm for this trip. (We will go back to the 8 am to 2 pm trip when sea bass opens.) We will have green crabs available also for the blackfish. Sorry to say the only thing stopping us from fishing for the other species is our government. (I will remember next time I vote!) See you at sea!
