Captain's Focus

2-6-18 We had a very nice day today offshore,,very calm with light winds.,,shame only a handful of people came down on such a nice day....The fishing was way better than we have seen,,,good life on the bottom...Perch were chewing and we had inbetween  a few nice codfish,,,some keeper pollock,,and keeper blackfish...Skip was high hook with two keeper blackfish, and ,a nice keeper Codfish..Along with some short Togs as well...Mikey Verges had himself had a keeper Tog and a nice pollock...Couple other Codfish as well and quite a few pollock that were just short... So... good to see the life offshore....I think we would have done even better if the boat was not moving around so much,it was so calm the boa never sat on the anchors well..Next trip is gonna be Friday it looks like,,to much wind next two days so stay home..If something changes I will let you know here....Friday has light winds forecast so we are gonna shoot to head back offshore Friday morning...We have crabs and clams for bait...seemed like they wanted a combo today of crab and clam...or shrimp tipped on the crab worked to..I will keep you updated but as of now shoot for Friday...check out some pics..
