The World Outdoor Expo opens Thursday afternoon at Rockland Community College in Suffern, N.Y., and runs through Sunday. This show features complete exhibits from most of the country's tackle manufacturers, and draws big crowds during prime hours. I always found it best to get there before the 2 p.m.   Thursday opening so I could get through most of the show before the evening crowd. Admission is $13 for adults, $3 for those 5 to 11. and no charge for kids under 5. To avoid the long lines at opening, it's advised to purchase tickets online at www.sportshows.com/suffern. The Ocean Explorer was supposed to fish from Belmar the last two, but there have been no reports so far. Internal waters striped bass fishing opens Thursday as does winter flounder fishing. Grumpy's Tackle in Seaside Park reports they already have worms in stock.
