Captain's Focus

4/15/18: We sailed Saturday with 4- to 6-foot-plus wave heights along with 20-knot-plus winds, and with water temps in the upper 40s on top (42 degrees on the bottom); it was a wonder that if a fish did bite that you could feel it. But it happened! We had about a dozen nice keepers, pool winner was about 5 lbs caught by Damon Mastrangelo. Lots of short fish around to keep you focused and on the last stop low and behold we caught a fluke! Released, of course. We cancelled Sunday's trip due to the bad weather. Let's try again next weekend and maybe the bottom temp will come up a few degrees and we will do better. See you there!
