I was pleasantly surprised today with the fishing. I expected to have a few more people with today being the nicest day of the week but only a dozen people showed up. We started out with all the wrong conditions today a hard west wind and incoming tide. all the chum was running to the bow but it didn't matter the fish were all around the boat, We picked away all day in the same spot. Lots of shorts to keep the rods bent  with a odd keeper mixed in. On the way home I was running over solid fish for 10 minutes. The fish are here with plenty of bait to keep them around. Now all we need is the weather to cooperate.Tomorrow looks like another day at the dock with rain and wind in the forecast and Friday I have Coast guard inspection So it looks like Saturday will be our next shot to get out.
