Atlantic Highlands stripe bass fishing April 26

Only a few people showed up on a nice day but we made both morning and afternoon trips today. On the morning trip ( 8am) the conditions were perfect. We only had to make one drop and we picked all morning. It was the best action for us this season. The short action was steady and everyone went home with a keeper stripe bass. On the afternoon trip (1:30) the conditions were not as good but we still only had to make one drop. The short action was not quite as good as the morning but there was still good action. Most people went home with a keeper but everyone caught shorts. We are still fishing in Raritan Bay using clams for bait. There some new pictures in the gallery from today so take a look. We are half day fishing for stripe bass making two trips everyday (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Hopefully this good fishing will continue. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
