We started with the shads today and had a couple fish follow them to the boat and we had one hooked for two seconds .After I was frustrated watching the guys trolling catch all around I left the area  and anchored up and used bait, we caught two shorts then the current went slack and that was that. I went in search mode in a few different arras but nothing materialized. I give a report truthfully good or bad and this one is bad. We had our first trip without a keeper today.
