Atlantic Highlands stripe bass Fishing May 17

The rain kept most of the people away again today but a few showed up so we made our morning trip. The rain was mostly a drizzle and everyone kept fishing. We went back to the same area were we have been catching. The first was no good. We made a short move to anther spot and after a little wait we started to catch. We stayed on that spot and had a pick of shorts and keepers. You can take a look at the gallery and see some of the keeper stripe bass from today. We also had another big black drum. The weather cleared up in the afternoon but not enough people showed up. As of now the weather for tomorrow does not look good. They are calling for northeast winds 20 to 25 with gusts to 30 knots with rain. I will be there in the morning to see if the weatherman is right. Check the weather buoy on my home  page and see what the wind is doing. If its blowing stay home. Even in the bay that much wind is not nice. Looking forward to seeing everyone if it's nice.
