Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 1

We had heavy rain this morning till about 7:45 and it stopped. The rest of the day was fine. A few people showed up for the morning trip so we went fluke fishing. The action was not as good as it has been but we did pick at some shorts and keepers. The afternoon trip was pretty much the same as the morning with nice weather. Picked some shorts with some keepers. We are fishing in Raritan and Sandy Hook bays. Gulp with a spearing or killie or plain spearing seems to be working the best. You can see some of the keepers from today in the gallery. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). The weather for tomorrow looks good but we are not sure about Sunday or Monday. We will have to watch and see what develops. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
