JUNE 9 UPDATE

WE WILL NOT BE SAILING THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 15 ON THE 1:30 PM TRIP

OPEN BOAT ON 8  AM TRIP

The Fluke fishing has always been a hit or miss deal. We had some good catching last Sat with some of the bigger fluke. Tom led the way with a 4.5 lb flattie, Paddy R. who returned from the morning got a keeper each trip, 3 generations of the Ahearn family were out with each getting a nice fluke and pool went to Steve. At the dock Sunday and Monday, out on Tuesday and anglers landed some nice keepers and dropped a few. Roy led the way with a 6lb beauty and Alex and Vinnie followed with 2 nice keepers each. Wednesday was the best day so far as we had a perfect drift in the morning and constant action on shorts, sea robins and keeper fluke. Pat had the pool with a 5.5 pounder, Kyle and Karley caught fish from start to finish with for nice keepers in the mix. The Wednesday boys put a hurting on the fishi  using killies. The afternoon slowed a bit as conditions changed, but we ended up with a decent catch. Barry of PA took the pool with a 5 pounder, Todd had a limit and Woody and Larry ended up with 2 big ones each. We had a beautiful day yesterday, but the fishing was a bit slower than the past few trips, but we put together a decent catch. Jim had the pool with a 4lb fluke.
