Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 24

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the morning trip we started out fishing in Raritan Bay. We picked at some shorts and did not see many keepers. We left that area and went to Sandy Hook bay. We found better action with shorts and caught a few keepers. All in all it was not good. On the afternoon trip we tried a different area in Raritan Bay. We started out with a nice drift and picked at a mix of shorts and keepers. On the first drift we caught our biggest fluke of the season so far. Glen Alabado from Edison N.J. landed a 10 lb 9 oz beauty. Unfortunately the wind came up against the wind and we lost the drift. We went back into Sandy Hook Bay were we had a better drift. We finished the afternoon with good action picking shorts with some keepers mixed in. Take a look at the gallery and see Glens and some of the other keepers from today. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
