Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing July 15

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. We had heavy rain before we left the dock then it was on and off drizzle. We could not repeat yesterday's fishing. We went back to the area where we fished yesterday (channels) and the current made the drift too fast. We went into the bay till the current slowed down. When the current slowed down we went back and picked some shorts with a few keepers. But is was not good. Ben had two keepers but he was the exception ( he gave them away). The weather cleared up and it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. On the afternoon trip we stayed in the bay where we fished yesterday afternoon. Ben came back for the afternoon and caught his limit. There was more action with the shorts and a more keepers then the morning but not really good. But as always we will keep on trying. Take a look at the gallery and see some of the keepers from today. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
