7/28/18: Yes, it was a tough July, weather-related, that is. We lost four days due to that low off the coast with a tropical flow that made a lot of wind and rough seas. Always check on our home page, hit Weather, then hit Inshore Forecast, and that will give you a report on current conditions.
Fishing has been slow, I don't lie or sugarcoat a report, we have had plenty of action with short fish and sea robins, which the larger size ones are very good eating, but today was a nice showing of keeper fluke! Finally a decent morning trip with a half dozen nice-size fish. Pool winner was a nice 6-lb fluke caught by Billy Wiesz of Manahawkin and Geno Demigleo of Ship Bottom, NJ got his limit of 3 nice keepers today. Let's fish August hard and September! And we have until the 25th this year to catch the flatties. We are looking forward to a good stretch of weather, to bring the kids out and enjoy the ocean. Also, on August 2, the afternoon trip only has been privately chartered. Sea you soon!
