Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 1

A lot of people missed a nice day of fishing today thanks to the weatherman. All of the rain they called for never really happen. It might have been raining in north jersey but not in Atlantic Highlands. Not many people showed up but we made both morning and afternoon trips. On the morning trip we had a little drizzle early but that did not last long. We picked at shorts and caught some keepers. On the afternoon trip it was sunshine the whole trip. We did not catch many keepers but everyone had fun catching plenty of shorts. There was some south wind so we fished in Sandy Hook Bay where it was calm. There are a couple of new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Check the weather for Atlantic Highlands and come make a trip. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
