Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 2

Made both morning and afternoon trips again in today. The ocean settled down so on the morning trip we headed into the ocean to fish the channels. We picked at the shorts and a few keepers. When the current picked up and the drift got fast up we went into the Sandy Hook Bay. We picked at the shorts again and caught a couple more keepers. On the afternoon trip we went back to the ocean. The southeast wind picked up against the tide and the drifting conditions were terrible. We went into the bay where we had a nice drift. We picked at the shorts and caught a few keepers. Take a look at the gallery and see some pictures from today. We are half day fishing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). We will be trying again tomorrow and depending on the conditions we will see where we fish. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
