AUG 31 UPDATE

1/2 DAY FISHING 8AM-12:30PM  &  1:30PM-6PM EVERY DAY

MON-TUES-WED PORGIES    THURS-FRI-SAT-SUN FLUKE

Monday morning's porgy trip started out slow, but then we found the mother lode, and non-stop action, so many double headers,  for the last hour of the trip resulted in full buckets for most of the anglers aboard and everyone going home with plenty of good eating fish.  Included in the mix were several nice sea bass and about a dozen big trigger fish. Back to the same area on the afternoon and in spite of horrendous anchoring condition  awesome fishing continued and anglers all had a blast. On Tuesday the awesome fishing continued, from the first drop in the morning until the day's end. Some limits, many full buckets and once again all went home with fish. Crew was kept busy all day expertly filleting the fish, making them ready for the broiler, grill, frying pan and even the microwave. As good as Mon and Tues fishing was, Wed. was not a repeat. By the end of each trip, anglers had a few fish to take home, but it was nothing compared to the previous 2 days. Thurs we were on the Fluke grounds with some action on the shorts and a few keepers for the day. The heat was oppressive on land, but there was a cool breeze on the water. Decided to cancel today's trips when I arrived at the dock and the wind almost blew my car door off, anyway I need a day off. The crew and I will be at the dock tomorrow, Saturday, ready for our next fishing adventure, hope you join us.
