Captain's Focus

(FRI) Today we ran a open boat Fluke trip and it was picky for us. We fished the reef to start and picked at keepers and shorts with a few Sea Bass too. The fishing was not getting better so we took a ride to another area and the short life was very good with a few more keepers up to 7 lbs were boated. Everyone had a few keepers to go home with.(SAT) This A.M we ran another open boat Fluke trip and the fishing was much better for us. We went right back where we left off and the fish were ready to play. The shorts and keepers were chewing good for about two hours then it just shut down. We went into search mode and found some more keepers up to 7.5 lbs. Ken was HH today with 6 keepers (orl) and mostly everyone else had a limit.(SUN) Today we had a charter for Rodney and his buddies for a day of Ling and other assorted botom dwellers. The first few drops was just a pick of ling and a Cod. The third drop the Ling were home with single & double headers coming over the rail for a while. We hit a few more wrecks and got very good shots at them with a few more Cod too. The boys finished up with a bunch of Ling, five keeper Cod, a whiting , pollack and some Sea Bass. Brian also caught a nice mahi mahi to add to the cooler.THIS FRIDAY THRU SUNDAY OPEN BOAT OCEAN FLUKING
