Captain's Focus

AM- This morning we had out Pat Sr. and Pat Jr. The guys wanted to go looking for some trophy bass, and understood it could be a either a hit or a bust. Got on the grounds at first light and it took a little while to find some readings. Eventually got our first bite and busted it off. Shortly after we had another and decked a nice 28# fish. The action died, so we made a move and found some active bait. Had a double right away with both fish coming into the boat and tipping the scale at 43 & 45#. Called it a day and headed home.

PM- Had our open boat guys out this afternoon and with the hard southerly decided to stay local. Mixed it up a bit and fished several different areas all producing fish on light tackle. At the end of the night we had landed 4 keepers to 18#, 3 bonus fish and released around another 40 shorts.
