Atlantic Highlands Bottom fishing November 8

It was another nice day on the ocean for our 3/4 day bottom fishing trip. Again everyone caught blackfish but not all caught keepers but a boat limit had everyone going home with dinner. The big fish of the day (and the season) was a 12lb 3oz beauty caught by Ben Santos from Aberdeen N.J. You can see his picture and others from today in the gallery. We had a couple of sea bass but the blackfish have been the main catch. We are 3/4 day bottom fishing everyday leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm (weather permitting). The weather for tomorrow is for northeast winds gust to 35 and rain so we will not be fishing. As of now the forecast for Saturday is for Gale winds (gusts 35/40) and if that is how it going to be we will not be fishing. We will just have to watch the weather. The forecast for Sunday and Monday looks good so come make a trip. Looking forward to seeing everyone when the weather is better.
