John held his ground and took home the seasonal pool….Fishing was not good today at all…not much life on the bottom..Caught a few keeper blackfish at the end of the day and that’s it..No Cod or ling…..very little in the way of exotics……regardless it was a great blackfish season for us and thankyou to all who fished onboard the explorer….We are going to the shipyard for bottom maintenance during the next few weeks…I will let you know here when we are back and ready to start Codfishing!!!!
