Picked and scatched at the Fluke this week. Â Pretty slow for the most part. Â HOWEVER, we did see a better showing of them this afternoon. Â Shorts along with a few keeper Fluke up to 5 1/2 pounds came over the rail. Â We did have to pick through the sand sharks and skates but was able to get a few to bite. Â Anglers using the squid/spearing combo did the best and we did catch a few on bucktails and gulps. Â With the warmer water in place, we should see an improvement over the weekend!
Bluefishing still remains slow. Â We have been riding all over the ocean looking for them but it has not worked out for us so far. Â The past couple of nights, I seen a lot of bait and a few of the smaller Blues swimming on top but could not get them to bite. Â Tonight, I did see the bigger ones swimming on top but had the same results. Eventually, there gonna gang up and start biting good again. Â We will keep doing our best to find them!!!! Â Going to take a ride offshore Saturday night and hopefully bump into them!
