Captain's Focus

AM- This morning our open boat guys experienced some great bass fishing. Loaded the wells and had lines in soon after. Had fish on right away on both chunked and live bunkers and were in release mode shortly thereafter. Once the action slowed with the tide we bounced around and finally landed on a few more fish that wanted to eat before calling it a morning. Big fish for the morning was right around 27#.

PM- This afternoon we had Mike and the boys from Seton Hall Prep fishing club out. With the wind against tide, we put the mojos in the water and had rods bending immediately. The boys did a great job and landed around 16 keeper sized bass to right around 30# and releasing all the bigger fish to go spawn. Tried to switch gears and get some fish on the bait, but tough conditions and finicky bites were all we found before heading in.

We have availability next week.
