Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 26

Made both morning and afternoon trips again today. On the morning trip there was still some northeast wind and it was still rough in the ocean. We did not want to beat anyone up so we fished in Sandy Hook Bay. It was nice and calm and we picked some shorts on every drift but no keepers. On the afternoon trip the wind diminished so we tried out where we fished last week. There was still a swell and we did not catch anything. We went to flynns Knoll where there it was calm and we pick shorts on each drift but no keepers. Tomorrow is another day and we will be back trying. If it is not nice in the ocean we will fish the bay again and hopefully the fishing will be better. We will have to see. We are half day fishing for fluke everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
