Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing October 12

After 4 days of northeast winds the wind diminished and we made both morning and afternoon trips today.  I was not real optimistic after the past few days weather. We started the morning where we fished on Monday and Tuesday. We picked some shorts and a few keeper porgies. Looking for better we went to the ocean where there was a ground swell. Tried some areas including where we fished last week. Did not read much and caught just about nothing. Went back to the bay where we started and again picked at shorts porgies and a few keepers. On the afternoon trip we stayed in the bay where we had plenty of action with everyone catching plenty of shorts but only a few keepers. There are a few new pictures in the gallery from today. Hopefully the swells will calm down and we can find seabass and porgies in the ocean. We will have to see. We are half day bottom fishing for seabass and porgies everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
