Only a few people showed up to go fishing for blackfish today but we went. It was not rough but there was a bit of a swell and the water was dirty from the bad weather the past three days. We went the area where we fished before weather but it was no good. Tried another area and again no good. We had to take a ride to another area where we were able to pick at a mix of short and keeper blackfish. It was not good but at least it was a pick. We will be back trying again tomorrow and hopefully the swell will diminish and the fishing will improve. We are 3/4 day fishing everyday for blackfish leaving at 7:30 am and returning between 2:30 and 3pm. Crabs are supplied for bait. Looking forward to seeing everyone in the morning.
