Nov 5 2013 11/3 Sunday Bottom Fishing Report SAILING OPEN BOAT THIS WEEK- WED, FRI, SAT & SUN AT 7AM FOR SEA BASS, PORGIES & BLACKFISH. It was pretty windy in the morning so we fished inshore to start the day. We only caught a few sea bass, porgies and blackfish there. After a couple of drops we headed out for some blackfish and had a very good bite going on with nice size blackfish on one drop for the rest of the day. At times it was drop and reel fishing. Robert was high hook with 7 keeper blackfish up to 6lbs and a bunch of shorts only keeping his one fish limit and everyone had their keeper blackfish to take home for dinner with a couple of sea bass mixed in. Remember Blackfish Season opens up Nov 16th and then we will be able to keep more. Right now we have clams for the sea bass & porgies and crabs for the blackfish. See everyone onboard.
