Captain's Focus

Aug 26 2013 8/26 Fishing Report & Open boat this week After an excellent day of porgy fishing Sat morning we went back out sat night. On the first drop fishing was ok. We had a nice pick for a large crowd for about an hour then after that it died only a few fish after that on each drop. Still high hook had 27 porgies a few spots and a keeper fluke which is still pretty good. Sunday morning fluking was on the slow side so we went porgy fishing again and had a steady pick of nice porgies few croakers and spots. Sunday afternoon we had slow fishing for fluke. We had some action and the keepers that we did get were very nice including our pool winners fish caught by Bruce Franklin that went 6lbs. Overall porgy fishing is good and there are still some nice size keeper fluke out there coming over the rail. So come on down. Thank Capt.Mike OPEN BOAT THIS WEEK OPEN BOAT for FLUKE- Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sun at 7:30am to 2:30pm also Fri evening 5pm to 9pm.
