Captain's Focus

I doubt if anyone sailed into the gusty northeaster today, and there also weren't any surf reports as the ocean is a mess from all that wind and swell. It may be slightly better tomorrow, but only fishable in protected waters. After a couple of tide changes it could be a different story. The Cock Robin from Point Pleasant has cancelled for tomorrow, and Elaine B. II from Highlands won't start fluking again until Thursday. The Jamaica from Brielle had a hot canyon tuna trip Sunday might, and they're adding another trip for Sunday at 5 p.m.  Call 732 528-5014 for reservations.
