Rough waters from Sunday's storm pretty much shut off fishing effort today. I doubt if any boats got out, as Joe Mellilo at Castaways Tackle in Point Pleasant reported 10-foot waves were pounding the beaches. The switch to west winds should knock those seas down, but it may take a day or two for that to occur.
