Yesterday, we headed to the South. There was a lot of boat traffic which made for some tough fishing. We read the blues good and at best, we picked at some drifts. The fish did not want to cooperate, especially the stripers.
This morning, we went South East and picked away on 8-15 lb blues and some keeper stripers. We made a few moves, looked around a little bit and after lunch we took a ride 15 miles North. Once again, we picked away at more big blues and stripers up to 25 lbs. We read and saw a lot of fish swirling, but the drifts were very fast with the winds. We ended the day with 19 keeper stripers and 60-70 blues. Ava 47’s & crocs worked best. Overall, today was a huge improvement over the past week and there are still plenty of fish around. Our pool winner was William from Costa Rica with a 25 lb striper.
Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
