Captain's Focus

July 16th, 2013

Summertime jumbo jersey blues are here! Miss Belmar continues to fish on the edge of the mud hole. We anchored up and it took 10 minutes to start catching the blues. We held 2-4 on most of the day with shots of 6-7 on at a time. The blues ranged anywhere from 6-16 lbs. We consistently saw fish up the chum slick feedings and also saw them 40-50’ under the boat on the fish finder. Chunked bait and ava 47’s worked great today. All the boats were spread out 1.5 - 2 miles apart and a good amount of blues have moved in. If you are thinking about coming out blue fishing, now is the time! It was an excellent day of angling. Our pool winner was Boomer Fashing from Danielsville, PA with a 16 lb blue!

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. & again from 7:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.
