Captain's Focus

May 3rd, 2013

Captain Lenny continued to fish North of our inlet today. We were able to pick stripers on some drifts, and on one of the drifts the fish came up on top and we were able to get a shot at them. In the afternoon, the bunker stayed on top and we got a couple more good wack's at them. All stripers caught today were keepers. Crocodiles and hammered golds worked best. Our pool winner today was Paul Groves from Philadelphia, PA with a 25 lb striper. There are still plenty of fish around with a lot of bunker showing up and fishing should continue to get better and better.

Sailing daily for stripers from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please feel  free to give us a call at (732) 681-0030.

Due to rough seas, we will not be sailing for stripers this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. We will go out tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, May 4th. and then we will begin sailing for afternoon stripers from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. every Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting, Friday, May 10th, 2013.
