Captain's Focus

November 2nd, 2012

We would like to start by thanking everyone for all of the phone calls, emails and support we have received since Hurricane Sandy hit. We truly appreciate everyone that has reached out to us.

At some point tomorrow, the 71 bridge that was damaged by the hurricane will be opening. They will manually open the bridge and leave it open for the next 3 months. With so many people still with out power, food and heat, we have been, and will continue to focus our efforts on helping everyone we can. With that said, we will not be sailing again until mid next week at the earliest. I will keep everyone posted with updates.

In the meantime, if anyone has any clothes, jackets, blankets, towels, hygiene products, or anything at all that you can donate, please feel free to drop it off at the boat. If for some reason we are not there, you can leave it on the back of the boat and we will make sure it goes to those in need. If you would prefer to mail items to us, you can send them to;

Again, thank you for your support. We look forward to sailing with you again soon.
