Captain's Focus

October 25th, 2012

This morning, Captain Lenny started off north of our inlet. We had a late start as there were problems with the Ocean Avenue bridge, but once we started fishing, we had some really good drifts with a mix of blues and stripers.  Fishing was really good all day long catching blues from 8-16 lbs and stripers up to 25 lbs with numerous limits on both.  Ava 27’s, 47’s & crocodiles worked great. One of our regulars, Dennis Newcombe, caught a 10 lb bonita. The last time I spoke with Captain Lenny they were still out fishing and had over 40 keeper stripers on-board. It turned out to be another really good day of fishing today with plenty of fish around.

Miss Belmar is sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and this Friday & Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. for stripers and blues. Starting next Friday, November 2nd, our other boat will begin sailing daily as well for striperthons starting at 6:00 a.m. For more information, please feel free to give us a call at (732) 681-6866 or (732) 681-0030. We look forward to seeing you!
