Captain's Focus

October 12th, 2012

Today, Captain Scotty started off going to the northern grounds. Stopped the boat and immediately had fish on. The first fish was a 15 lb striper. Thought we were in, but that was the only one caught for the day. Started to catch monster blues that ranged from 12-19.5 lbs. We drifted and moved around in a couple of areas. Most drifts had 12-25 jumbo blues. We caught through out the day and many limits were had. Fishing lasted until the stiff wind came up around 12:30 p.m. then it slowed to a pick until we blew the horn to go home at 2:10 p.m. All fish were caught on jigs. Our pool winner was George Zimnes from Millstone, NJ with a 19.5 lb blue.

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and every Friday & Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
