Captain's Focus

August 1st, 2012

This morning, Captain Lenny started out just east of our inlet. There were good readings but it was mostly a pick with an occasional shot made. We had a good half a dozen drifts onshore near the Klondike. We then went offshore another 8 miles, anchored up and had fish on immediately on jigs. We caught the blues very well on both jigs and bait and they ranged from 10-14 lbs. We were holding 2-8 fish on most of the time. Fishing was red hot with plenty of action and the boat limited out. Our pool winner was a 14 lb blue. Overall, it was an excellent day of fishing!

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
