Captain's Focus

July 10th, 2012

Tonight, we decided to check out a new area out to the East of our inlet. Drove for quite a while and stopped on a reading where we tried drifting but only managed to catch 1 blue around 10 lbs. Made a move about a mile to the East and there was fish on instantly.  We started out with a 2-4 pick and then increased until we held 8-10 fish on at a time with shots of up to 12 on. All the fish were in the larger size ranging 10-15 lbs. Many limits were had around the boat  with many playing catch and release. High hook on the night ended up with 25 fish only keeping their legal limit. There is a very large body of fish out in the area. Come on out and get in on some of the BEST fishing we have had yet this season. Our pool winner was Andy Andrejcisk (father and son) with a 15.5 lb bluefish.

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
