Captain's Focus

June 17th, 2012

Tonight, we headed up north where we have been fishing. When we got up there it was still light out so we made a quick drop inshore and caught a dozen small bluefish in the 2-4 lb class. Once it got dark we went in search of them a little further offshore.  We found a nice reading, anchored up and started fish immediately. It started with a 1-3 pick and steadily increased until we were holding 10-12 fish on that were 10-14 lbs.  Almost everyone on-board had their limit. High hook on the night had 28 bluefish only keeping their legal limit. Our pool winner was a 14 lb blue fish.

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  & again from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
