Captain's Focus

June 16th, 2012

It was a bluefish slaughter aboard Miss Belmar today! Captain Lenny took us North of our inlet and fishing was excellent from the start. We read fish 40-60' thick with fish also on top. We were able to stay on drifts for up to 45 minutes with non stop action throwing the blues over the rails as fast as you could catch them. You could not have asked for a better day fishing. There was a big spread of fish and there were numerous limits today. The blues were up to 17 lbs and Ava 27's & 47's worked the best. Our pool winner was a 17 lb blue fish.
