Captain's Focus

June 12th, 2012

We had EXCELLENT blue fishing aboard Miss Belmar today! We started out NE of our inlet and had fish on immediately. We stopped on readings of fish that were 30' deep, fishing in 110' of water. We were chumming and chunking as we drifted today and jigging with Ava 47's & 67's, both plain and tailed worked best. A few fish were caught on bait. We had drifts that lasted anywhere from 30-60 minutes and we held fish with shots on all of them with numerous limits. The blues ranged anywhere from 5-16 lbs. It was a super day of good, solid fishing! Our pool winner was Margarita Loranzo from Lincoln Park, NJ with a 16 lb blue.

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. & again from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
