Captain's Focus

April 27th, 2012

Captain Lenny took us NNE of our inlet along the beach today. We came across acres of bunker and spent 30 minutes catching it so we had live bait on-board. We then went back to where we have been having some really good fishing lately but that was not the case today. We saw occasional fish mixed in with the bait readings. We did catch a few bass on live bunker along with jigging a couple. We picked away at the blues on each drift and by the end of the day, we ended up with a couple dozen blues and a few stripers. It was a very windy day today making it tough keeping the jigs on the bottom but we were still able to pick away at the blues.

By request, and from all of the positive feedback we have received, we will begin sailing for AFTERNOON STRIPERS starting tomorrow, April 28th, from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. every Friday, Saturday & Sunday! You asked for it and were bringing it! We look forward to seeing you!
